How to get W2 from job I walked out of?

Walked out of a job last April for reasons that were perfectly reasonable. Haven’t spoken to the owners since. Haven’t received anything in the mail. Deadline for taxes is coming up, and I don’t know how to approach this. I don’t really want to speak to them, but I will if I must. I just need confirmation that I HAVE to contact them, otherwise I’m not going to.
